COACHELLA 2022
In collaboration with stylist Marta Del Rio, worked on concept and execution of design for Billie Eilish's Coachella headline look.
Puffer coat was designed in mind with Billie's love for oversize and extravagant silhouettes. This entrance look was meant to provoke anticipation of what's to come, covered up so secretively but enormous in presence.
Deconstructed details were seen throughout, which was an ode to her rebellious spirit. It was not applied on her coat but also on rage-gear worn throughout the performance.
Puffer coats went through many rounds of sketches to meet Billie's expectation. From lacing to zippers, many details were considered but eventually we landed on focusing on the silhouette, so the presence can be the focus of the moment.
Mock ups of performance gear, collaging punk imagery and staining to accentuate the rebellious look
